Overview
Extend outdoor surveillance and security networks beyond the standard 100 m Ethernet limit without installing additional power infrastructure. The AXIS T8129-E Outdoor 60W PoE Extender from Axis Communications lets you place cameras and network devices at greater distances by adding one extender per extra 100 m of cable, while preserving full-rate network throughput and removing the need for local power. Supporting IEEE 802.3af/at and high PoE up to 60 W, the T8129-E reliably powers PTZ cameras, IR illuminators and access control devices.
Built for harsh environments, its IP66/IP67-rated enclosure and wide operating temperature range (-40 to 104°F) ensure consistent performance for outdoor security, perimeter monitoring and remote surveillance. Two auto-configuring Ethernet ports simplify installation by negotiating link speed, duplex and crossover automatically, enabling faster deployments with minimal configuration. Ideal for system integrators and IT teams, the AXIS T8129-E reduces cabling complexity while scaling easily for long-range monitoring projects. Add the AXIS T8129-E to your next outdoor security or surveillance installation to power remote cameras and sensors with confidence.
