Overview
Designed for precise perimeter control, the AJAX 101442.289.WH3 Curtain Motion Detector Jeweller delivers reliable outdoor and indoor monitoring where focused coverage matters most. This Ajax-branded curtain-type PIR motion sensor combines dual-technology sensing (two PIR elements plus a microwave channel) and SmartDetect algorithms to sharply reduce false alarms while protecting windows, doorways and narrow entry points up to 12 m. With a tight 8° horizontal beam and an 85° vertical view, it eliminates blind spots directly beneath the unit for consistent detection. Communication over the secure Jeweller protocol provides up to 1,700 m open-space range, and Wings firmware updates keep the detector current. Built-in Grade 2 anti-masking, tamper/accelerometer alerts and pet immunity (ignores animals under 100 cm) preserve signal integrity and reduce nuisance events for busy commercial sites. Pre-installed batteries support up to 3 years of autonomous operation, lowering service overhead. Manage settings remotely and receive push, SMS or call notifications through Ajax apps for professional alarm monitoring and rapid response. Add the AJAX Curtain Outdoor/Indoor detector to your security or surveillance design for targeted perimeter protection—contact us to integrate it into your system or place an order today.
