Overview
Designed for dependable audio and control wiring in commercial security and AV systems, the West Penn Wire 270GY1000 Riser Unshielded Cable delivers a practical balance of flexibility, capacity, and code compliance. This 6-conductor stranded 22AWG audio/control cable comes on a full 1000' gray reel, making it ideal for long runs to alarm panels, access control units, speakers, and surveillance cameras where unshielded conductors are acceptable. The riser-rated PVC jacket permits safe vertical routing in multi-story buildings while the stranded conductors simplify terminations and reduce breakage during installation. Because it’s unshielded and optimized for control/audio signals, it provides a cost-effective solution for monitoring, paging and low-voltage security applications without unnecessary complexity. West Penn Wire’s 270GY1000 is RoHS-compliant and built to commercial standards, giving system integrators consistent performance and reliability. For streamlined wiring of security, surveillance and monitoring systems, choose the 270GY1000 Riser Unshielded Cable — order a 1000' reel today or contact us for project quotes and volume pricing.
