Overview
Engineered for reliable outdoor and industrial power, the Leviton Wetguard Watertight Locking Plug (model 28W49) delivers secure, weatherproof connectivity where uptime matters most. This industrial-grade locking plug provides 30A at 277V via a NEMA L7-30P configuration, making it ideal for powering security cameras, surveillance servers, access control systems and remote monitoring equipment. The EPTR rubber housing and exclusive tongue-and-groove design create IP69K-level protection against high-temperature, high-pressure washdowns, while heavy‑duty one-piece contacts ensure consistent conductivity and reduced heat buildup under load.
Designed to resist water, acids, alkalies and common industrial lubricants, the Wetguard plug minimizes maintenance and replacement costs in harsh environments. Its locking mechanism prevents accidental disconnects during vibration or heavy use—particularly valuable in security, CCTV, and perimeter monitoring installations. Rated for -40 to 140°F operation and backed by Leviton’s limited lifetime warranty, the 28W49 is a dependable choice for contractors and facility managers who need robust, compliant power connectors. Specify the Leviton Wetguard 30A watertight locking plug for your next outdoor power or surveillance project — order now to secure reliable, long-term performance.
