The Fox tone generator runs on a 9V battery for low-voltage tracing or can be powered directly from 120/220VAC lines; it provides multiple tones, audible/visual continuity and exclusive TrueTrace functionality for confident identification through building materials and conduit. The lightweight Hound inductive amplifier features a thumbwheel sensitivity control, signal-strength LED, earphone jack and LED headlights to reduce fluorescent noise and illuminate dark spaces.
