Overview
Built for dependable life-safety and low-voltage signaling, the Genesis 41581008 Fire Alarm Cable delivers consistent performance for fire alarm, security and monitoring installations. This FPL unshielded, 18/6 stranded cable on a 1000' reel combines flexible bare copper conductors with SRPVC insulation and a UV-resistant PVC jacket so you can run longer outdoor or direct-burial routes without sacrificing conductivity or durability. Rated for 300V and operating between -20 °C and 75 °C, the cable meets the environmental demands of rooftops, conduits and underground pathways while supporting alarm panels, sensors and surveillance peripheral devices.
Installers appreciate the built-in rip cord and countdown length markings that speed jacket removal and manage inventory on large jobs. Genesis Cable’s US-made construction and RoHS/TAA compliance make this reel an ideal choice for municipal, commercial and institutional projects requiring certified, long-lasting fire alarm wiring.
