Overview
Protect outdoor perimeters with confidence using the AJAX MotionProtect Outdoor wireless PIR motion sensor. Designed for professional security and surveillance applications, this detector combines reliable detection with practical features that reduce false alarms and maintenance overhead. MotionProtect Outdoor provides an adjustable detection distance of 3–15 meters to suit fences, building approaches or parking areas, and its anti-masking capability immediately alerts if the lens is blocked to maintain uninterrupted monitoring.
Engineered for real-world installations, the detector ignores pets up to 80 cm tall to minimize nuisance alerts while delivering secure communications over the Jeweller radio protocol (up to 1,700 m line-of-sight) and tamper/jamming protection. Battery-powered operation supports up to 5 years of service on pre-installed batteries, reducing site visits and total cost of ownership. Configure sensitivity, detection zones and notifications through the Ajax apps for iOS, Android, macOS and Windows, or connect the unit to a central monitoring station for professional alarm response.
Ideal for commercial sites, multi-site deployments, and perimeter surveillance—add MotionProtect Outdoor to your security system to improve reliability and lower maintenance. Contact us to order or specify for your next monitoring project.
