Overview
Ensure uninterrupted fire protection and dependable security monitoring with the Genesis 18/4 Plenum Fire Alarm Cable. This plenum unshielded cable (FPLP) is engineered for commercial fire alarm and surveillance systems, providing consistent, low-noise signal transmission via solid 18 AWG bare copper conductors. Supplied on a 1000' (304.8 m) black reel, it reduces the need for splices and improves installation efficiency with countdown length markings and a built-in rip cord for fast jacket removal.
The low-smoke LS-PVC plenum jacket meets strict building safety requirements, minimizing toxic emissions in the event of a fire and supporting safe installation in air-handling spaces. Rated for 300 V and an operating range of -20 °C to 75 °C, the cable is RoHS and TAA compliant and manufactured in the USA for reliable performance and compliance with codes.
Ideal for fire alarm panels, initiating devices, security and surveillance deployments, the Genesis plenum fire alarm cable helps installers meet code while reducing labor and materials. Add this 18/4 FPLP cable to your next commercial project to streamline installation and ensure long-term monitoring reliability.
