Overview
Make secure entry intuitive across your facility with the Adams Rite by ASSA ABLOY 4590 Deadlatch Paddle — a durable, ergonomically designed deadlatch paddle that turns latched doors into easy push-or-pull access points. Built from extruded aluminum with a dark bronze anodized finish, the 4590 delivers a professional look and corrosion-resistant performance for high-traffic commercial doors. It ships with a cam plug for direct compatibility with Adams Rite 4300, 4500 and 4900 Series deadlatches and fits a standard 1-3/4 in door stile, helping installers save time on retrofits and new builds. The PUSH-to-RIGHT handing reduces installation mistakes and ensures predictable operation for personnel and visitors. Because the escutcheon is secured with binder posts and hardened steel pins, the assembly resists torque and tampering — a practical choice for security, access control and surveillance-aware installations. Ideal for education, healthcare, retail and office environments, the 4590 enhances safety and operational efficiency.
