Overview
Improve door usability and secure controlled entry with the Adams Rite by ASSA ABLOY 4591 deadlatch paddle. Designed as an ergonomic alternative to knobs or levers, this paddle provides intuitive PULL-to-Left operation that speeds egress and reduces bottlenecks on high-traffic commercial doors. Built from extruded aluminum with a black anodized finish, the 4591 delivers corrosion-resistant durability while maintaining a professional appearance for storefronts, office suites, and controlled-access points.
The 4591 is engineered for installers: it fits a 1-3/4" door stile and is compatible with Adams Rite 4300, 4500 and 4900 Series deadlatches (cam plug furnished for those models), enabling straightforward retrofits and consistent hardware across a facility. Its secure escutcheon fastening and hardened steel pins resist torque, supporting perimeter security and reliable integration with access control, monitoring and surveillance systems. Field-reconfigurable handing provides on-site flexibility to match your door layout.
