Overview
Bring rich, landscape-friendly sound to your outdoor spaces with the Russound 5R82MK2 OutBack Rock Speaker. Designed as an 8" 2-way outdoor speaker, the weathered granite enclosure delivers realistic rock aesthetics while protecting premium drivers from the elements. With a robust 125W RMS handling and an extended 58Hz–20kHz frequency range, this speaker produces deep bass and clear highs—making music, paging, and ambient audio feel natural across patios, pool decks and backyard venues. The Mark 2 updates include a larger tweeter and refined crossover for improved clarity and a wider soundstage, ideal for both residential audio systems and commercial outdoor audio installations. IP-resistant housing, polypropylene components and a multi-layer fiberglass resin finish ensure long-term UV and moisture resistance, while the integrated security cable eyelet supports theft deterrence in high-traffic or semi-public areas. The Russound 5R82MK2 also pairs well with outdoor security and surveillance setups when occupant notification or audible alerts are required. Add dependable, high-fidelity sound to your landscape—install these rock speakers around your patio, pool, or perimeter and enjoy music and monitoring-ready audio outdoors.
