Overview
Bring powerful, focused bass to your outdoor entertainment areas with the Russound 5R8SUB OutBack Rock subwoofer. Designed as an all-weather subwoofer for patios, decks, pools and landscaped areas, this front-firing 8" woofer delivers punchy low end (RMS 125W, down to 40Hz with recommended DSP) so music and paging retain full impact in open-air settings. The multi-layered fiberglass resin housing is waterproof and UV-resistant, giving you a natural rock appearance that blends into landscapes while protecting components from the elements.
Beyond music, the 5R8SUB is ideal for commercial outdoor audio, security paging and monitoring applications where reliable low-frequency response improves clarity for alarms and voice announcements. With 90dB sensitivity and an 8 ohm impedance, it integrates easily with common amplifiers and DSP preamps for tailored performance. Russound backs the OutBack Rock subwoofer with a five-year limited warranty and integrated security cable mount for added durability and theft deterrence. Upgrade your outdoor audio or security system with deep, dependable bass—perfect for backyard gatherings, venue installations, or outdoor surveillance/paging zones.
