Overview
Deliver reliable, secure controlled access for commercial doors and storefronts with the Adams Rite by ASSA ABLOY 7140 electric strike. This electric strike is engineered for access control applications where fail‑secure operation and dependable intermittent duty are required—keeping doors locked during power loss while supporting frequent, momentary activation on 24VAC systems. The 7140 (MPN 7140-540-313-00) features a dark bronze anodized face for long‑lasting corrosion resistance and a professional appearance that complements building hardware.
Installers and security integrators benefit from straightforward compatibility with standard lock controllers, monitoring circuits, and surveillance systems, making it ideal for facilities management, retail environments, and institutional security projects. Its intermittent 24VAC design minimizes heat buildup during repeated cycles, improving longevity and reducing maintenance. Backed by the Adams Rite brand and engineered for access control reliability, the 7140 electric strike helps simplify specification and enhances overall system security.
