Overview
When life-safety and reliable deterrence matter, the Adams Rite by ASSA ABLOY 8800A36BUS32D rim alarmed exit device delivers dependable protection for narrow stile doors. This exit bar combines an audible alarm for immediate notification with a slim, satin stainless pushbar that maintains clean sightlines in commercial storefronts, healthcare, education, and retail environments. The 36" pushbar and extruded aluminum construction are built to withstand heavy daily use while resisting corrosion, and the patented Starwheel bolt interlock secures the door to the frame for consistent physical security. Designed for standard door thicknesses (1-3/4" up to 2-1/4"), the 8800A model provides life-safety performance without an integrated monitoring switch—ideal where audible alarm notification is required but electronic door status monitoring is not. Easy to install and compatible with common access-control workflows, this Adams Rite exit device helps facilities meet safety requirements and simplify maintenance. Specify the 8800A36BUS32D for secure, low-profile rim alarm protection in your next security or access control project—order or consult our team for application guidance.
