Overview
Optimize voice paging, background music and security/monitoring audio with the Bogen ACD2X2 Self-Amplified Drop-In Ceiling Speaker. Engineered for fast, reliable deployment in commercial and institutional environments, this 1-watt, self-contained speaker drops directly into standard 2' x 2' ceiling grids (support rail included for 2' x 4' applications), eliminating tile cutting and speeding installation. The 8" main cone and secondary driver deliver intelligible speech and dependable coverage with 94 dB sensitivity, while the recessed front volume control makes on-site tuning simple.
Built with plenum-rated hardware (UL-2043) and seismic attachment points, the ACD2X2 meets safety and code requirements for modern AV, security and surveillance systems. Its enclosed steel construction and non-reflective perforated grille keep the aesthetic low-profile and durable for high-traffic areas. Ideal for paging, mass notification, retail, education and healthcare facilities, this Bogen ceiling speaker simplifies system design and supports monitoring and security audio needs with a compact footprint. Specify the ACD2X2 for your next security or AV installation — contact sales or add to your project spec today.
