Securitas AR2NR01-485 Securitas RS-485 Dual Isolated Automatic Repeater

Designed to keep patient monitoring and security networks reliable across large facilities, the Securitas Healthcare RS-485 Dual Isolated Automatic Repeater (AR2NR01-485) extends and stabilizes RS-485 communications for RoamAlert® and similar systems. By adding an additional 4,000 ft of cable per repeater, the unit lets you expand coverage without complex rewiring. Its dual isolation protects the network from elevator traveler-cable interference and electrical noise, improving uptime for surveillance, wandering-patient detection, and other monitoring applications.

The automatic, fast-repeater operation removes the need for manual configuration; simply power the unit (9–35V DC input) and integrate it into your RS-485 topology. The repeater supports up to five elevators in a star configuration as an isolator, and up to two repeaters can be used to extend line length. Built for healthcare and security deployments, it withstands 0–65°C (32–150°F) ambient temperatures and compact dimensions for discreet mounting. Note: external power supply required.
