Overview
Deliver precise, intuitive control at the wall for AV, security and monitoring applications with the BSS by Harman EC-4BV Ethernet wall controller. This Soundweb Contrio pro audio controller provides tactile, PoE-powered operation—reducing installation complexity while integrating seamlessly into HiQnet networks and Soundweb London systems. The EC-4BV features a programmable push/rotary encoder with a multicolor encoder ring, four backlit programmable buttons and a 64x128 pixel LCD for custom labels and status monitoring. Use the encoder for continuous volume adjustment and immediate preset recall, while buttons map to mutes, source select or scene changes — ideal for conference rooms, auditoriums and surveillance monitoring stations. Multicolor LEDs and an audio-metering ring give instant visual feedback for muted/unmuted, levels and alerts, improving situational awareness in security and control-room environments. Administrators benefit from remote lock/unlock capabilities and local four-digit PIN protection to keep critical routings secure. Configure the EC-4BV quickly via drag-and-drop in HiQnet Audio Architect and deploy in single-gang Decora openings. Add the EC-4BV to your next AV or security integration to streamline control and improve operator efficiency.
