Overview
Streamline AV, security and monitoring control with the BSS by Harman EC-8BV Ethernet wall controller — a rugged pro audio controller built for mission-critical environments. The EC-8BV puts precise, tactile control at the wall: a programmable push/rotary encoder for continuous volume or parameter adjustment, an LED encoder ring for visual feedback, eight multicolor programmable buttons and two customizable 64x128 LCD displays for clear zone and source labeling. Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and a single Ethernet port reduce installation complexity and eliminate extra power wiring, while HiQnet Audio Architect drag-and-drop configuration speeds commissioning. Built-in security features include local four-digit PIN unlock and remote locking for controlled access in surveillance, security operations centers or corporate AV installations. Multicolor backlighting and sleep functionality prevent distractions in dimly lit spaces while maintaining instant visibility when needed. The EC-8BV integrates seamlessly with Soundweb London, Crown DCi amplifiers and other HiQnet devices to deliver reliable AV control, monitoring and status reporting. Optimize your control rooms, conference spaces or surveillance suites—specify the BSS EC-8BV for secure, professional-grade wall control.
