Overview
For commercial audio, paging and security environments that demand reliable, intelligible sound, the SoundTube CM800I-BK 8" Coax In-Ceiling Speaker delivers professional-grade performance in a discreet black finish. This SoundTube pro speaker offers a wide frequency range up to 22 kHz with low-end extension to 71 Hz (setting dependent) and an 8 ohm impedance for straightforward amplifier pairing. The coaxial driver design ensures even coverage across the listening area, making it ideal for background music, public address, surveillance audio, and monitoring applications.
Designed for installers, the slim 1.08" mounting depth and 14.76" diameter allow flush mounting in tight ceiling cavities while maintaining aesthetic continuity. UL1480A and UL2043 listings plus RoHS compliance make it suitable for commercial, retail, hospitality and security installations that require plenum-rated equipment. The transformer bypass capability further streamlines integration into existing low-impedance systems, reducing time on-site.
