Overview
Optimize building-wide paging and background audio with the Bogen CSD2X2VRU Pro Speakers — a drop-in ceiling solution designed for fast installs and reliable performance. These full-range ceiling speakers come as a pair with an 8" main cone and 2-way design to deliver clear voice intelligibility for paging, security announcements, and surveillance monitoring. The built-in 70V/25V transformer and five selectable power taps (4–1/4 W) let integrators configure zones precisely to match coverage and SPL requirements, minimizing amplifier count and wiring complexity.
Installation is simple: cut a single ceiling tile, lay the included support rail across the grid, and drop the speaker into place — saving contractor time and reducing disruption to occupied spaces. The recessed rotary volume control offers on-site adjustment without exposing controls, while the plenum-rated back can meets UL 2043 for use in air-handling spaces. Industrial-grade steel construction and UL listings ensure dependable operation in schools, retail, offices, houses of worship, and security installations. For projects that require straightforward, code-compliant audio for paging, monitoring, or background music, specify the Bogen CSD2X2VRU pair — contact sales or add to cart to get started.
