Overview
Deliver powerful, focused low-end for live and studio applications with the Audix D6X Cardioid Dynamic Kick Drum Microphone. Engineered as a pro microphone, the D6X puts kick and bass instruments forward in the mix with a tailored low-frequency response and reliable off-axis rejection. Its cardioid dynamic pattern and three selectable filters give engineers and techs quick, practical control to reduce stage rumble, tighten sub-bass, and adapt to different cabinets or drumheads without complex EQ.
Designed for the rigors of touring and repeated setup, the D6X offers rugged construction and consistent, high-SPL handling so you get dependable results night after night. The mic’s isolation characteristics make it an excellent choice for multi-mic drum kits, live sound reinforcement, broadcast monitoring, and studio tracking. While not intended for security or surveillance systems, its clear capture and robust build also support audio monitoring tasks in venue and broadcast environments. Add the Audix D6X to your toolkit to achieve tight, punchy low end—order now or contact our team for system integration advice.
