Overview
Built to perform in the toughest environments, the Shure DL4B DuraPlex omnidirectional miniature lavalier microphone delivers clear, consistent audio for broadcast, live events, security and surveillance applications. This condenser lavalier’s IP57 dust- and waterproof rating lets production and monitoring teams record reliably outdoors, on-location or in humid conditions without compromising sound quality. The neutral full-frequency response (20 Hz–20 kHz) and omnidirectional polar pattern capture natural dialog and steady pickup when talent moves or is off-axis. Rugged by design, the advanced 1.6 mm Shure Plex cable with dual redundant ground resists kinking, virtually eliminates memory effect and stands up to heavy use—reducing downtime for rental houses, theatrical tours and security integrators. The MTQG quick-disconnect interface and 6' cable length simplify setup and serviceability for bodypack transmitters and wired monitoring rigs. Whether equipping broadcast crews, integrating microphones into surveillance systems, or deploying mics for public-safety monitoring, the DL4B combines professional audio fidelity with dependable durability. Add the Shure DL4B to your kit to improve intelligibility, cut retakes and keep operations running smoothly.
