Overview
The Shure DL4 DuraPlex omnidirectional subminiature waterproof microphone is built for dependable, low‑profile audio capture in security, surveillance and professional monitoring systems. Its omnidirectional polar pattern provides even, natural pickup of speech and ambient sound, making it ideal for discreet installations where consistent intelligibility matters. The DuraPlex waterproof construction protects the mic capsule and cable from moisture and abrasion, ensuring long-lasting performance in outdoor or high‑humidity environments. Equipped with an MTQG connector, this subminiature microphone integrates seamlessly with compatible Shure wireless transmitters and pro audio packs, simplifying deployment across AV, broadcast and monitoring applications. The tan finish and ultra‑small form factor allow the DL4 to blend into walls, ceilings and outdoor fixtures for unobtrusive surveillance and security setups. For facilities managers, integrators and AV professionals, the DL4 reduces installation time and ongoing maintenance while delivering professional audio quality where reliability is critical.
