Overview
Designed for secure commercial interiors, the Securitron by ASSA ABLOY DSB-BK42 Dual Sense Bar is a touch sense exit bar engineered to deliver dependable, code-conscious egress. The Dual Sense Bar provides two independent release circuits — touch-sense technology and 1/8" mechanical movement — so occupants can exit instantly during an emergency while maintaining magnetic lock security. At 42 in length with rugged all-metal construction and an included armored 6-conductor cable, the DSB-BK42 is built for high-traffic areas and integrates easily with 12V or 24V access control systems.
The DSB-BK42 resists RF/EM interference and electrostatic discharge, ensuring consistent performance in environments with surveillance, monitoring, and other electronic security equipment. Its illuminated "Push to Exit" option via fiber optics improves visibility at egress points, while field-cuttable sizing and no-special-tool installation reduce labor and spare-parts complexity. Ideal for secure doors where reliable egress and access control are paramount, specify the Securitron DSB-BK42 for your next security, access control, or life-safety installation.
