Overview
Secure and professional rack protection is essential for AV, IT and security deployments. The Middle Atlantic by Legrand FD-40 solid front door is a 40U rack door panel engineered to protect equipment used in server rooms, surveillance, monitoring and corporate AV spaces. Constructed from steel with a textured black powder-coat finish, the FD-40 resists scratches and maintains a low-profile, branded appearance across racks.
A keyed lock gives you immediate physical security to prevent tampering, while the reversible hinge provides installation flexibility for left- or right-hand openings. With a 70.87" height to match 40U systems and a slim 1.39" depth, this door integrates cleanly with SR, ERK, MRK and WRK rack series. The included hardware streamlines deployment so technicians can focus on network and system setup rather than custom fabrication.
Ideal for surveillance cabinets, secure network closets, and professional AV racks, the FD-40 balances aesthetics, durability and access control. Add this Middle Atlantic FD-40 solid front door to your next rack build or retrofit to improve security and maintain a clean, professional equipment footprint. Order now to secure and standardize your rack installations.
