Overview
Deliver a dependable, high-capacity backbone for security, surveillance and monitoring systems with the Sumitomo FOR-144-O 144-Fiber Outdoor Ribbon Optical Cable. This armored, single-jacket outdoor ribbon cable combines 144 high-density fibers with rugged mechanical protection to minimize conduit space while resisting rodent damage, crushing and harsh weather. The ribbon fiber design is mass fusion-ready, reducing splicing time and labor when used with fusion cable splicers and speeding deployment of CCTV, access control and network backbone projects.
Built for long-term outdoor use, the FOR-144-O supports direct-burial or duct applications and maintains consistent low attenuation for reliable video and data transmission over long distances. Its high fiber count lets you consolidate runs, scale surveillance footprints, and lower total cost of ownership without expanding physical pathways. Choose Sumitomo's FOR-144-O to simplify installation, improve uptime, and future-proof security and networking infrastructure.
