When a card is read the credential data is sent to the base unit (Wiegand output) for instant verification against your existing access control database, preserving up-to-date authorization and audit trails. The reader's gate-selection and vend/relay button provide immediate control over doors, gates or alarm circuits—useful for checkpoints, vehicle entry, bus and logistics inspections, or disaster response mustering.
