Overview
Built for reliable hands-free access, the AWID LR-3000 UHF Long-Range Smart Card Reader delivers secure, long-range identification ideal for vehicle gates, parking facilities and staffed entry points. This AWID long-range reader reads passive UHF tags and cards at distances up to 25', enabling faster entry and reduced traffic backups while supporting both vehicle and pedestrian access. With an integrated antenna and compact form factor, installation is simplified and unobtrusive; the LR-3000 outputs standard Wiegand for immediate integration with existing access control panels and parking management systems.
Operators benefit from programmable RF field strength and selectable read repeat rates to prevent cross-reading between lanes—critical for accurate monitoring, surveillance and perimeter security. Passive, battery-free credentials cut maintenance costs and AWID’s proprietary encryption secures RF communications against interception. Rugged enough for indoor or outdoor deployment and RoHS-compliant, the LR-3000 is a practical choice for facilities focused on efficient, secure access control. Ideal for gate control, hospital entrances, parking and perimeter surveillance—contact sales to specify the LR-3000 for your next access control deployment.
