Overview
Optimize airflow and protect critical equipment with the Middle Atlantic by Legrand LVFD-40 vented front door. Designed for 40U SR, ERK, MRK and WRK racks, this perforated door delivers 64% open-area ventilation to help maintain consistent rack temperatures and prevent thermal throttling of servers, switches and surveillance recorders. Built from rugged steel with a textured black powder-coat finish, the LVFD-40 resists corrosion and keeps a professional aesthetic in data centers, security rooms, and network closets.
The LVFD-40 combines performance and security: the reversible hinge supports right- or left-side installations, and the integrated keyed lock prevents unauthorized access to monitoring and surveillance equipment. Its beveled corners and precision fit reduce turbulence while promoting steady front-to-back airflow for efficient rack cooling. Ideal for IT managers, integrators, and security professionals, this front door streamlines cooling strategies and improves uptime for servers, storage and video systems.
Upgrade your rack with the LVFD-40 to enhance cooling and secure your infrastructure—order now or contact us to confirm compatibility with your rack model.
