Overview
Optimize perimeter security with the Nascom N1178BSHK/ST recessed 1 in magnetic contact — engineered to deliver reliable door monitoring in commercial, industrial and residential applications. This Nascom magnetic contact switch uses a wide-gap 1 in recessed stubby design and a powerful N35 NdFeB rare-earth magnet to reduce false alarms caused by door warping or shifting, lowering maintenance calls and nuisance trips. Installers appreciate the snap-fit on steel (no glue required) and the encapsulated hermetically sealed contacts that resist corrosion and moisture. Pre-wired 12 in 22 AWG wire leads speed connections to alarm panels and access control systems, while the polypropylene housing and UL634 listing give system designers confidence in long-term performance. Ideal for monitored security, intrusion detection and surveillance integrations, the N1178BSHK/ST fits standard hinged steel and wood doors and cuts installation time without sacrificing reliability. Upgrade your door contact solution — add this Nascom recessed magnetic contact to your next security, monitoring, or access control project or contact us for bulk pricing and technical support.
