Overview
Designed for dependable door monitoring and quick installs, the Nascom N1178TWSHK/ST recessed 1" stubby terminal switch is a professional-grade magnetic contact for security, access control and alarm systems. The SHARK N35 rare-earth magnet provides a wide gap and consistent holding force that helps prevent nuisance alarms caused by door warping — a major benefit for busy commercial and industrial environments. Installers save time with the snap-fit design (no glue or silicone) and 12" 22 AWG wire leads that feed directly into screw terminals for fast wiring. Encapsulated, hermetically sealed contacts and UL634 listing ensure robust performance in residential, retail, and institutional surveillance applications where reliability matters. Its low-profile recessed housing keeps the contact concealed and tamper-resistant on both steel and wood hinged doors. Specify the Nascom recessed magnetic contact when you need a compact, durable door contact that minimizes downtime and maintenance. Add this SHARK magnet door contact to your next security install or order samples for evaluation.
