The NVT Phybridge NV-1642 16-Channel Stub EG Active Hub is a video extender receiver designed for CCTV and IP surveillance systems, delivering full-motion monochrome or color video over Category 5 (or better) twisted pair. With 16 channels in a compact 1U, 19" rack-mount chassis and RJ45 connectivity (NV-RJ45A adaptors included), the NV-1642 supports distances up to 1,500 ft (460 m) with passive NVT transceivers and up to 2,000 ft (600 m) when paired with the NV-653T transmitter. Built-in StubEQ™ automatically compensates for cable attenuation, while ground-lift and surge/transient protection eliminate hum-bars and voltage spikes—allowing video to coexist with telephone, datacom and low-voltage power in the same bundle. Ideal for new or retrofit security, access control and remote monitoring installations, the NV-1642 minimizes downtime and lowers total cost of ownership.
