Overview
Optimize voice capture for conferencing, security, and surveillance with the Shure R189W-A Lobar Mini-Shotgun Condenser Cartridge. This pro microphone cartridge is engineered to deliver highly directional, intelligible audio where focused pickup and RF robustness matter most—boardrooms, courtrooms, lecture halls, and monitoring stations. The lobar polar pattern and narrow 100-degree pickup area reject unwanted ambient noise so speech remains prominent, while CommShield technology protects against interference from cellular and digital wireless bodypacks.
Designed as a threaded 1 cm cartridge, the R189W-A installs quickly on all Shure Microflex gooseneck and overhead microphones (including Microflex Wireless and Microflex Complete), simplifying upgrades and maintenance. The condenser element offers a 50–17,000 Hz frequency response and handles up to 121 dB SPL, delivering clear, natural voice reproduction for both speech reinforcement and recorded surveillance. Finished in bright white, it blends into ceilings and fixtures for a discreet professional look.
For dependable, focused audio in security, monitoring, AV, and conferencing systems, choose the Shure R189W-A—order now to enhance clarity and reliability in your installation.
