Overview
Designed for clear voice paging, background music and emergency voice-alarm systems, the SoundTube RS42-EZ-BK pro speaker delivers reliable acoustic performance for commercial, retail and security installations. This 4-inch coaxial ceiling speaker uses BroadBeam Ring technology to provide smooth high-frequency dispersion, improving speech intelligibility across open ceilings and suspended environments. With a frequency response of 140 Hz to 22 kHz and a 16 ohm impedance, the RS42-EZ-BK is easy to daisy-chain in low-voltage audio systems and integrates cleanly into multi-zone PA and monitoring setups.
Engineered for fast deployment, the unit ships with galvanized steel hanging cables, a locking cover plate for direct-to-conduit mounting, and weatherized components for indoor or covered outdoor use. The rugged injection-molded ABS enclosure and paintable aluminum grille preserve aesthetics in corporate, retail, and surveillance-focused installations while meeting EN60849 and BS5839-8 voice alarm requirements. Ideal for integrators specifying audio for security, surveillance, and monitoring systems, the RS42-EZ-BK simplifies installation without compromising sound quality.
