RDL RU-FNP RACK-UP Series Format-A and Aux Source to Network Interface Converter

The Radio Design Labs RU-FNP Format-A to Network Interface converts multi-pair analog sources into four Dante channels, making it easy to integrate remote microphones, paging, and line-level devices into networked AV and security systems. As a compact RU-FN module, it accepts three Format-A twisted-pair audio pairs plus a balanced/unbalanced AUX input and presents each as its own Dante stream — reducing wiring complexity and centralizing audio for monitoring, surveillance, conferencing, and distributed playback. Built for installers, the unit supports Power over Ethernet or an external 24 Vdc supply (and will auto-switch if one fails) while supplying up to 200 mA to connected Format-A senders. High-resolution 24-bit A/D converters and RDL’s analog filtering provide clean, low-noise audio; the front-panel variable AUX gain and dual-LED VU meter plus signal LEDs on each Format-A channel speed field adjustments without a laptop.
