Bring reliable, professional audio I/O to your networked AV and security systems with the Radio Design Labs RU-MLB2 Mic/Line Bi-Directional Network Interface. Engineered as a compact Dante audio interface, the RU-MLB2 converts two Dante receive channels to balanced +4 dBu outputs while simultaneously sending two mic or line sources onto the network — ideal for conference rooms, surveillance audio, monitoring stations and distributed AV installations. Each input features automatic gain selection (60 dB for dynamics, 40 dB for condensers) and P48 phantom power when set to mic, removing the need for manual trim during device swaps. Front-panel variable-intensity LEDs speed commissioning when a laptop isn’t nearby. With low noise (better than 80 dB below operating level) and crosstalk below the noise floor, the unit preserves clarity for recording, security playback and live monitoring. Choose 24 VDC power or the PoE-capable RU-MLB2P for flexible mounting in racks, tables or backboards.
