Overview
Designed for secure, code-compliant egress in commercial settings, the Securitron by ASSA ABLOY TSB-BK-42 Touch Sense Bar delivers dependable touch-activated release for magnetically locked, non-fire-rated doors. This 42" anodized black touch sense exit bar senses contact even through light gloves or clothing, triggering a solid-state DPST relay to allow immediate egress or to initiate an exit delay. Operating on either 12V or 24V DC, it integrates seamlessly with access control, monitoring and building security systems. Installers will appreciate the field-cuttable design (up to 48") and included 16 ft 22 AWG 6-conductor cable plus armored door cord for durable, code-conscious wiring. The TSB-BK-42 minimizes mechanical wear—no moving parts are required to activate—reducing maintenance and extending service life. Ideal for interior commercial doors where reliable egress and minimal footprint are priorities, it also offers a backup push button and is ElectroLynx-ready for simplified connections. Add this touch sense exit bar to your security and access control lineup to improve throughput and compliance—contact us for specifications or to order for your next project.
