Overview
Streamline AV and room control with the Kanex WP-EDUKIT4K Premium Extender Kit, designed for K-12 classrooms and professional presentation environments. This HDMI extender kit delivers reliable 4K@60Hz video up to 40 meters (and 1080p up to 70 meters) over Cat5e/6a cabling, reducing costly HDMI cable runs and simplifying installation. With both HDMI and VGA inputs supporting HDCP 2.2, the kit accommodates modern laptops and legacy devices without compromising content protection.
The package includes a recessed wallplate transmitter, a receiver, and a wallplate control panel with four intuitive buttons — enabling teachers to switch sources and control projectors from the podium. PoC capability powers the transmitter and control panel from the receiver, minimizing power outlets and installation complexity. IT teams benefit from front-panel and GUI control for easy configuration and monitoring.
Beyond classrooms, the WP-EDUKIT4K is well-suited for boardrooms, training rooms, and small monitoring or security/surveillance control centers that need dependable video extension and device control. Upgrade your AV deployment—contact sales or add to cart to deploy consistent, low-maintenance AV and monitoring systems.
